Stop wasting your money on unneccessary supplements. A lot of the supplements out there are overprice, overhyped & under researched ways to flush your money down the toilet.
In today’s video I go over the 5 (+1 bonus) ‘supplements’ I take that have evidence to support their use and won’t cost you a lot of money.
Here are the five supplements that I take, that help me with both training in the gym and general health.
Gold Standard Whey
I like to use standard whey protein isolate or concentrate. Studies indicate that there is no real difference between whey and casein, in terms of digestion speed or satiety. So get the one that doesn’t cause any digestive stress. Personally, higher isolate content has been the easiest on my system.
NOW Sports Creatine Monohydrate
The most researched and effective supplement available is also one of the cheapest – Creatine Monohydrate. Don’t waste your money on the ‘fancy’ newer versions of creatine, as they don’t have any evidence to support claims that they’re more effective or have higher absorption rates. If anything the data shows that they are in some cases inferior to Monohydrate.
